Choose one of the following activities to help recognise and begin to let go of any negative thoughts or worries



BLOWING A COLOUR
Close your eyes, if that feels good for you. Notice any thoughts that are on your mind.
Notice how these thoughts make you feel. Imagine what colour this feeling would be.
Breathe in slowly and deeply, then breathe out through your mouth and imagine that you are blowing that colour out of your body, blow, blow, blow.
FLOATING BOATS
Close your eyes, if that feels good for you. Notice any thoughts that are on your mind.
Imagine folding that thought inside a piece of paper. Fold the piece of paper into a boat.
Imagine putting your paper boat onto the water and watch your thought sail, sail, sail away.
TALL TREE
Close your eyes, if that feels good for you. Notice any thoughts that are on your mind.
Imagine you are like a tree, with roots growing into the earth below, keeping you strong.
Send your thoughts from your mind, down your body, down your roots, down into the earth.
Imagine your roots sending your thoughts down, down, down into the earth.
