DO SOMETHING POSITIVE

M.I.N.D. Step 4

Choose one of the following activities to bring positive thoughts and feelings to the forefront of the mind

I AM THANKFUL

  • Think of things that make you feel happy, it can be people, objects, nature, places… whatever brings a smile to your face.

  • Write down your favourite 5, starting each sentence with the words “Thank you for…” 

  • Keep your list somewhere safe, so that you can read it whenever you like.

SENSES WALK

  • Go for a walk outdoors.

  • Look at what you can see. What do you enjoy looking at?

  • Listen to what you can hear. Which sounds do you enjoy listening to?

  • Feel the things that you can touch. What do you like the feel of?

  • Smell the things that have a scent. What do you like the smell of?

BOOGIE BOOGIE

  • Think of your favourite song.

  • Find somewhere you can listen to it on your own.

  • Boogie to the song anyway you want to, anyway that feels good for you.
