MAKE TIME TO STOP
M.I.N.D. Step 1
Choose one of the following activities to help make time to stop
Squeeze your toes, knees and all of your legs, squeeze, squeeze, squeeze. Let go.
Squeeze your tummy, chest, hands and all of your arms, squeeze, squeeze, squeeze. Let go.
Squeeze your lips, nose, close your eyes and squeeze all of your face, squeeze, squeeze, squeeze. Let go.
SIT AND SEE
Choose a nice place to sit, inside or outside. Sit comfortably in a chair or on the ground.
Look above you. Choose one thing that you can see to focus on and stare at it. Look at all of the detail… colour, shape, size. Think about the important job that it does and look at how wonderful it is, look, look, look.
Do the same as you look to your left, to your right and as you look down.
HELLO TO THE SUN
Stand up tall with your feet a little bit apart, hands by your side and roll your shoulders back.
Breathe in and reach up to the sky, wave your hands to the sun and say hello.
Breathe out and fold over to touch your toes, try to keep your legs straight.
Have a go at doing this 5 more times.
